My first job out of college was teaching English in Japan (2001-2002) and it was absolutely the best thing I could have done with that time. Out of all the jobs I've had, other than self-employment, teaching English in Japan is the one job that I would most strongly recommend to others. Living in Japan was a yearlong, fully immersive learning experience on every possible level. More than a job, it was an adventure. Even though it’s been 10 years, I still think back on my time in Japan very often, and a lot of the lessons from that time still resonate with me. One of the most memorable experiences I had in Japan was seeing the way that small businesses operated there. This gave me a lot of insights into Japanese business culture, and taught me a lot about America as well. This post highlights some of the things that really impressed me about small businesses in Japan.

In the movie “Big Night,” Primo and Secondo were in a difficult situation – the business was struggling, they urgently needed every customer, and so they didn’t have the luxury of telling the customers that they were “wrong.” But ideally, as your business grows, you can gain enough confidence to show customers the “right way” to experience your business’s offerings – not to be a prima donna or make your customers feel bad, but to help them have the best possible customer experience. Customers always get what they want (and need) when they hire CorpNet to incorporate a business. If you want to start a business, CorpNet can help you incorporate as an S-Corp or form an LLC to get your business up and running. We help entrepreneurs start a business by managing the business filings to incorporate a company. Whether you want to form an LLC or S-Corporation or other corporate entity, CorpNet can help you choose a business structure with a free business consultation.

With any property, there are inherent liabilities — from a broken balcony railing to old electrical wiring or mold. And with an LLC, your personal assets aren't vulnerable should you be sued by a tenant or property guest. Forming an LLC is a relatively quick and painless process. And while it may straightforward, there are some common mistakes that investors make that can impact the benefits of the LLC as dicussed and laid out wihtin this blog post.
