miltonAt CorpNet, we consider our staff our family. We celebrate every win, every birthday, and every anniversary together.

This week, we’d like to spotlight a team member who has been with us for two years: Milton Turcios.

In the last two years, Milton has moved from our fulfillment department into sales. He describes his job as a hybrid role of sales and customer service. Milton says his previous experience in fulfillment helps him do his current job better:

“Starting off in the fulfillment department was great for me because I was able to learn the business (incorporation process) thoroughly starting from the back end. Now as a customer service representative, our customers feel secure in the information they’re receiving because I’ve done the paperwork involved in the process.”

He says his favorite part of his job is assisting clients. “You get to feel the excitement and hear out the ideas that people have in starting up their businesses.”

He remembers helping a client file an LLC in Hawaii, and the great conversation they had about the client starting a business:

“We spent about  a half hour on the phone going over what he wanted to do with the business, how he was looking to run it, and went over the different business structures. He felt the LLC would suit his needs to start up and was very grateful that I was able to answer all of his questions.”

Afterward, when the client was asked to provide feedback on his experience with CorpNet and Milton, this is what the client said:

“Milton, hell yes I’d use Corp Net again. It was awesome and I would absolutely recommend you to anyone wanting to start a business. You go boy!”

Getting that positive feedback made the experience memorable for Milton, and helped him validate the importance of his work.

Milton’s Seen Some Changes

In the two years that Milton has worked for CorpNet, he’s seen several changes in the company, and is always enthusiastic about them. He loves the new office that CorpNet recently moved into. He’s also excited about the new Compliance Portal we’ve launched.

“Not only does the Compliance Portal facilitate things for the clients, it also allows us in the office to provide a much faster service,” he says.

His Future Looks Bright

Milton will be returning to Cal-State University Northridge (CSUN) in the fall, where he has changed his major to Business Administration & Management. CorpNet, it seems, has inspired him to focus on business in his studies.

“Working at CorpNet has lit a fire in me for the business world. Finishing my studies is something that’s important to me and my future, and I’m more driven than ever to get my degree,” Milton says. He is grateful that Nellie and Phil Akalp have been flexible with him so that he can continue working while he returns to school.

Milton is confident in his future, thanks to the role that CorpNet has had in his life. He’s grateful to the Akalps for shaping him into the employee that he has become: “They took me in a 20 year old college student with little to no experience in the workforce. They have guided, groomed, and lead me to be the dedicated worker I am today. I’m forever grateful and forever indebted to Phil and Nellie.”
